Saving
Files
Files can be saved from automatically erasing
by "flagging" them as Mark Never Recycle.
Click on the time (or drag over several time frames)
then Right Click and Left Click on Mark Never Recycle
A
lock will appear instead of a checkmark on all marked
files.
Note that you can unmark file later for normal
recycling.

Saving files to a CD
or DVD is a 2 step process.
1st - Saving the file
to the computer's Hard Drive.
2nd - Copying the file
a CD or DVD.

1st - Click on the
AVI button on the control panel ( #8 ).
You can export a certain time period within a video
event and play it back at the place where ViewLog
is not available. The max length of the exported file
is 1 hour.
1. Locate a desired file from the
folder tree and video event list.
2. Click the Save AVI File button
to display the following window. Alternatively, press
[S] key on the keyboard to call it up.

3. Select whether to show the date
or time in the exported file and which text colors
you prefer.
4. Drag the timelines to define a
starting and ending time of the file.
5. Click the button [……] in the Save
Folder section to assign a saving path.

We suggest saving file to the root directory of (C:)
(choose Save In and select the drive).
6. Give the file a name that you
will remember and select Save.
7. Click the check box of Audio to
export audio contents.
8. Click Save to save and export
the file in an AVI format.
Note: A bar will appear in the upper
left 1/4 of your screen showing "Merging Files".
Wait for this bar to
finish before proceeding to the 2nd step.
Note: You can view an exported file
at any PC with GeoMpeg4 codec. To download the codec,
right click here
and select "Save Target As". After it
is saved, unzip the file and select Install from
the call-up menu for the installation.
2nd - Close the View
Log and minimize the Live View
(this will bring you to your
Desktop).
Left click on
My Computer then (C:)
Right click on
the file you saved, select Send To and Left click
on your CD or DVD drive letter.

A message box will pop up on your desktop saying that
you have files ready to burn to a CD. Click on the
icon to open the next window.
Click on Write these files to CD.
When finished - open the CD tray and close it (leave
the CD in). A window should open suggesting that use
Windows Media Player to play the file.
